When it was still dark

Seek him in the morning,
When the air is still untainted by
the activities of the day -
When babies cry and mothers worry
and fathers wringe their hands in fury.

Seek him in the morning,
He's there to hear every complaint -
about the idiot next door;
and the pebble in your shoe

Seek him in the morning,
Seek him in the hush of the dark.
When light threatens to break forth,
before the sun comes to steal away its stillness.

Mark 1:35
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
